Join Our Piano Family
4-7 yo beginners who may be interested in perfect pitch training and/or piano exam/future competition preparation, and also strongly motivated transfer students who have already developed daily piano practice habit are particularly welcome! Beginner aged 8 yo and older are accepted only if the student is strongly motivated to learn how to play piano and can commit to daily practice and piano study towards piano exams.

I have taught piano to children for the past 20 years at my home studio in the East Bay and helped many families discover the joy of having piano music in their lives. East Bay kids are very busy with sports and other activities, but I have always managed to find ways to motivate children and successfully helped them discover the joy and the sense of pride in piano performance gives to children.

Once your children's little sense of pride wakes up, it is a great opportunity to implement a growth mindset in your children from very young age through music study by having them start working toward exams. This would serve them well in every aspect of their lives.

I realize how big your first piano teacher's influence could become in your life from my own experience. I also feel gratitude for my mother who found a piano teacher for me at very young age everyday. I build strong relationships with students and their families and strive to unlock their potential for a richer life with live music in the house.
