Recitals
at Berkeley Piano Club
At our studio, recitals serve as important milestones for students’ progress, held every 6 months. Our recitals are hosted at the Berkeley Piano Club, one of the best piano recital venues in the Bay Area.
Important:

Rehearsal attendance is mandatory to participate in the recital, ensuring the quality of our performance.

Memorizing music is strongly encouraged for both recital and exam performances.

Students and families are required to stay for the entire duration of the recital to support their fellow performers (unless you have another event on the same day; in that case, please notify me in advance). This is standard etiquette in music education and helps create a supportive environment.
Recital Dates
Spring Recital: First Saturday in May (Early evening Recital)
Fall Recital: First Sunday in November (Late afternoon recital)

Here are some of the highlights from our past two recitals at Berkeley Piano Club.
NOTE: In early summer 2024, I had almost all my current students start preparing for their appropriate level exams (ABRSM or RCM) and they have all started the new chapters in their piano study. I look forward to uploading the result of their polishing work towards their first (or second exams for some) exams very soon!
Berkeley Piano Club
Berkeley Piano Club is an organization found by a group of Berkeley women in 1893 and is dedicated to performance and study of music. As a performing member of this club, I have been enjoying the privileged access to this recital venue with the perfect acoustic specifically designed for piano recitals equipped with Bösendorfer and Steinway grand pianos.
