Trial Lesson  (There is a $60 fee for a 45-60 min session for the trial lesson)

At the trial lesson, we will mutually assess and ensure that we are a good match for a productive and enjoyable teaching/learning experience. We will also confirm that the student and family are ready to commit to daily practice. (Once the student is ready for home practice, I first ensure they have learned a good, relaxed hand shape and proper touch on the keys before asking them to start practicing at home, repeating the motion consistently.) After the trial lesson, if I am unable to accommodate your child in my weekly schedule for the upcoming 6-month season, I will refund the trial lesson fee.

Important:

Piano study is a discipline in which I find my purpose—sharing the joy of music with my kindred souls of the next generation: your musical children.
For this reason,
I only work with students and families who can commit to establishing a daily practice routine during the first year (and the first two years for beginners aged 4 and younger). Consistent home practice is required for the student to achieve continued improvement, and without continued improvement, the joy of learning will eventually fade. Each week, I look forward to seeing young musical souls filled with the joy of learning.
My studio is a place where everyone strives to find and cultivate the joy of learning and unlocking our gifts. Please join us prepared to do your part in this journey.

Lastly, but not least, my studio is my second family, and I am profoundly proud of the family culture I’ve developed with the wonderful studio families!
